Printing Services in Chattogram

A working commercial press in Anderkilla, not a reseller. Visiting cards, packaging boxes, banners, labels, brochures and stationery — quoted the same day, printed on our own floor, couriered to all 64 districts.

Chattogram is the official name of the city. You may also know it as Chittagong, or in Bengali as চট্টগ্রাম — some write চিটাগাং. Whichever spelling you searched, this is the same press in the same place.

A press in Anderkilla, six days a week

Shahid PrintShop sits on the 1st floor of G.A. Bhaban, beside Anderkilla Shahi Jame Masjid. You can walk in with a file on a pen drive or a phone and leave with a quote — no appointment, no account, no minimum order talk.

Bring a design or bring nothing but an idea. We check every file for the things that ruin a print job before it reaches the plate — resolution, colour mode, bleed — and we tell you on the spot what can be printed and what has to be fixed first.

That matters most on repeat work. Price lists, menu covers, delivery stickers and ID cards get reprinted as a business grows, and a file that was prepared properly the first time reprints the same way a year later. If you inherited artwork from a previous printer, bring it in — we will tell you whether it is worth reusing or better rebuilt.

How an order works

  1. Send your requirements

Your design file, the size, the quantity and the deadline — on WhatsApp, by email, or in person.

  2. File check and quote

We check the file is print-ready, confirm the stock and finish, and send the price — usually the same day.

  3. Print and finish

The approved job runs on our floor in Anderkilla, with cutting, lamination, foil or binding in-house.

  4. Collect or receive

Pick it up at the counter, or have it couriered to any of the 64 districts of Bangladesh.

What affects the price of a printing job

Two orders with the same design can come back at different prices. These are the things that move the number, so you know what to ask about before you commit.

Quantity

The single biggest factor. Setting up a job costs roughly the same whether you print 100 or 1,000, so the price per piece falls sharply as the run gets longer. If your budget is tight, printing a larger run is often cheaper per card than printing small and reordering.

Paper and board

Thicker board, textured stock and imported sheets cost more than a standard coated paper. For visiting cards the weight is measured in GSM — a heavier card feels more substantial in the hand, but it also needs to be cut and finished more carefully.

Finishing

Lamination, spot UV, foil stamping, embossing and die-cutting are separate operations, each with its own setup. One finish adds a little; several combined add up quickly. Ask us which single finish would make the most difference to your job.

Size and cutting

A non-standard size means a custom cut, which uses more paper and more setup. Standard sizes — the common visiting card, A4, A5, A3 — are cheaper because the sheet divides cleanly with less waste.

Deadline

Normal scheduling is cheaper than a rush job. If you have a fixed date, tell us at the start rather than halfway through — it is far easier to plan around a deadline than to recover from one.

Whether the file is ready

A print-ready file costs nothing to prepare. If artwork needs rebuilding, that is design time. We will always tell you which side of that line your file is on before we quote.

Finding the shop in Anderkilla

Anderkilla is the old commercial heart of Chattogram, and the press is in the middle of it, on the 1st floor of G.A. Bhaban beside Anderkilla Shahi Jame Masjid. If you are coming from elsewhere in the city, the counter is the same place whether you arrive by rickshaw, CNG or your own transport.

Walk in during opening hours and you can feel the paper before you order, compare a matte card against a gloss one, and see how a laminated menu behaves next to an unlaminated sheet. Those are hard to judge from a screen, which is why people make the trip.

You do not need an appointment, and you do not need to know the technical words. Describe what you want the printed piece to do — hand out at an event, sit on a restaurant table, survive a delivery run — and we will suggest what usually works.

Chattogram printing questions, answered

Where in Chattogram is Shahid PrintShop located?

Our press is in Anderkilla, at Anderkilla Shahi Jame Masjid, G.A. Bhaban, 1st Floor, Chattogram 4363. Walk-ins are welcome during opening hours — six days a week, Saturday through Thursday, 9:00 AM to 10:00 PM. We are closed on Fridays.

Is Chattogram the same place as Chittagong?

Yes. Chittagong is the older English spelling and Chattogram is the official name; in Bengali the city is চট্টগ্রাম, and many people also write চিটাগাং. They are the same city, and our press has been in Anderkilla since the beginning.

What printing services do you offer in Chattogram?

Visiting cards and identity print, packaging and food cartons, labels and product decals, corporate stationery and office forms, large-format banners and event signage, marketing flyers and brochures, branded apparel, and hospitality and restaurant print. Design and prepress are done in-house.

Can I send my design through WhatsApp?

Yes. Message 01840488142 with your design file, the size, the quantity and your deadline. We check the file before printing and tell you straight away if anything needs fixing.

Do you deliver outside Chattogram?

Yes. We courier to all 64 districts of Bangladesh, and counter pickup at our Anderkilla press is free. Delivery cost depends on the weight and the destination — we include it in your quote.

How long does a printing job take?

It depends on the product, the quantity, the finishing and how quickly the artwork is approved. Simple work moves fast; foil, embossing, die-cutting and binding each add their own steps. Once we have seen your file we give you a realistic date rather than a generic promise.

Can you help prepare my design for printing?

Yes. We check every incoming file at 300 DPI in CMYK with the correct bleed before plating, at no charge. If the file needs more than a check, our design desk can rebuild or clean up the artwork.

What information do I need to request a quotation?

Four things: the product, the size, the quantity, and the material or finish if you know it. Add your design file and your deadline, and we can quote accurately — usually the same day.
